i’m actually almost done with Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. i’m on page 649 and i’m watching the movie tonight! Yeah, kinda late but whatever, there won’t be any lines and i like empty theatres.
i’m in front of my work computer and i’m back from a three day break. i saw Becoming Jane and now Jane Austen is my hero alongside Mother Teresa. i saw that with Emily at the Angelika Film Centre. That was the narrowest theatre i’ve ever been too and the screen was ridiculously small for $11 and zilch surround sound. But they have a cafe upstairs and you can buy coffee or cakes instead of the usual popcorn. The weird thing was that the theatres were downstairs and there would be the occasional rumble of a SUBWAY TRAIN! (i don’t believe)
When we went upstate Tiffany, Emily, and i watched Driving Lessons featuring Rupert Grint (a.k.a. Ron Weasley) and Julie Walters (Molly Weasley). It was a decent film. It was weird seeing Rupert Grint in a different light. Also, Molly Weasley had a totally different role so it was good seeing the actors stretch and expand their usual stuff.
i also went to Douglaston MovieWorld 😮 to watch Bourne Ultimatum with Eric (Your name was on my crossword today. Clue: Explorer______ the Red). Gasp because it’s almost been 10 years since i stepped foot into that theatre. That was freakin action packed. i like Matt Damon a lot and today on Newsday he was ranked NUMBER 1 in Fortune Magazine as the most valuable actor on the market. For every dollar he is paid he generates $36 dollars back. Ka-ching!
i just ate the world’s smallest muffin. i also passed my Road Test yesterday! Hip hip hooray! The only comment my tester had for me was “Turning & Intersections: Poor judgment approaching or at intersections: Turning: turns wide left.” Oh wells, i didn’t hit the curb. My driving teacher Mr. Robert told me, ” Tell your mum to go to the car dealer first thing tomorrow morning!”
