I really should have blogged this much sooner but some of my housemates made a telenova for Lionel’s, one of our other housemates, birthday. Haha, I don’t know if you’ll find it funny but it sure made me laugh when I watched it. I was reminded of Lionel, Mi Amor when Dan, who directed, edited, wrote, etc was planning to shoot another video to promote Lighthouse because housing application start on Friday. That video will also be posted soon.

Road Trip
Came back from a road trip short of a week ago. We went to Nashville, Marietta, Savannah, Wilmington, and D.C. after the Urbana Conference in St. Louis. To briefly sum up our adventures, we ate a lot of delicious foods and sweets, took many half-jumping pictures, drove over 1,600 miles, and met and re-met friends from Urbana.
Thanks to everyone who welcomed us into their homes. I had a blessed time on the road and would do this again any day. There is nothing better than being in the company of friends, food, and laughter.

Carving Pumpkins
We picked out pumpkins at the Iron Kettle Farm the other day and carved them tonight! I have not done this since kindergarten. I think they turned out spectacularly!
We used big knives…which was a bit scary for me.
Many thanks to Hayley and her family!! I really enjoyed my stay 🙂
I am looking forward to going home Thanksgiving! Apparently while I was away my parents decided to redo the flooring and walls so as of today, my house no long has the famous green carpet. My walls have been repainted (I think) light green and white. Thank goodness because in my junior year of high school, my friend I painted my room with obnoxious green, blue, and orange colors.
Ithaca
Hayley has been showing me around Ithaca, her hometown and it has been a wonderful and pleasant break 🙂 The weather has graciously cooperated with us so we got to hike Lucifer Falls and other trails. I also got to walk around Cornell to met up with a friend from high school.
Unfortunately, we will be returning to Wes tomorrow early afternoon, which would signal the end of our fall breaks.
